Service Description:
This map contains the location of all reported deer crashes between January 1, 2017 and September 30, 2020. A statistical algorithm is used to determine the likelihood of future deer crash areas. This is based on the total length of road and number of crashes contained in each hexagonal polygon.
Eleven Layers include:
  1. State Boundary
  2. Deer Signs Where Deer-related Crashes Were Reported
  3. Deer Signs Where Deer-related Crashes Were NOT Reported
  4. Fatal Crash
  5. Suspected Serious Injury Crash
  6. Suspected Minor Injury Crash
  7. Possible Injury Crash
  8. Property Damage Crash
  9. Weighted Crash Likelihood and Severity
  10. Counties
  11. Highway
There are nine layer pop-ups include:
Deer Signs Where Deer-related Crashes Were Reported
Pop-up Title: Deer Sign: Nearby crashes were reported

The deer sign is located on route {ROUTE} and is located on the {LOC_DESC} side of the road.

The route's full identifier is {ROUTE_NAME}.

Deer Signs Where Deer-related Crashes were NOT Reported
Pop-up Title: Deer Sign: No crashes were reported
